The Finance Department at Millbrook First Nation plays a vital role in supporting the long-term prosperity of our community. Working on behalf of all members, the department manages and invests financial resources in ways that benefit individuals, families, and local businesses. From essential services to economic development initiatives, our financial planning is focused on building a strong and sustainable future for Millbrook.

Important Dates & Deadlines

Upcoming deadline:

Treaty Enterprise Credit (June 2026)

Deadline: August 6, 2026 at 4:30pm

  • Completed forms and all relevant documents can be scanned to treatycredit@millbrookfn.ca

  • Subject line: First and Last Name

  • Applicants requesting direct deposit must provide one of the two listed documents:

    • 1. Void Cheque belonging to the applicant.

    • 2. Direct Deposit Form from applicant’s bank.

  • Handwritten banking information and bank accounts not belonging to the applicant will not be accepted.

  • Please add the full mailing address; our financial team is updating to a new system.

  • Reminder to Band members, it is your responsibility to provide a copy of your status card or proof of status.

  • Please remember that cheques should not be deposited or cashed after 6 months. If you come across a cheque that is more than 6 months old, contact us, and we can reissue it.

  • A legible photocopy of Certificate of Indian Status (front and back) is required.

  • Expired status cards will not be accepted.

  • No third party inquiries on someone else’s behalf.

If you do not have a Certificate of Indian Status, proof must be obtained from the Millbrook Membership Clerk: (902)-895-6385 Ext. 108/109 | membership@cmmns.com. Application is not received complete until the status card or letter from the membership clerk is received.

Grants and applications are generally processed through Finance; however, members are encouraged to first inquire with the specific department administering the program (i.e., housing, education etc) with questions about the application process.
