Millbrook Power Centre
The Millbrook Power Centre is owned and operated by Millbrook First Nation. Millbrook has been recognized nationally as a Model First Nation for Aboriginal Land Management and Economic Development. The centre encompasses premium fully serviced and readily available commercial land on one of the most travelled stretches of Nova Scotia's highway. Since development began, the Millbrook Power Centre has developed into a hub for retail businesses with more than $30,000,000 of investments currently on site.
The Millbrook Power Centre is the product of a historic deal between the Millbrook First Nation and government. The success of this Aboriginal initiative and its ground-breaking agreement make it a powerful example for Canadian Aboriginal businesses to follow. The Strategic Plan for the Millbrook Power Centre offers eighty (80) leasable acres in a highway showcase setting, offering flexible lot layouts that can be tailored to each tenant's needs. All land leases are available for extended periods and services to your lot are provided. In this setting, tenants are free of municipal planning controls and restrictions on hours of operation.
