Employment Opportunity - Educational Transition Support Person

The Millbrook Education Department is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for the position of Educational Transition Support Person.

Position Overview: The Educational Transition Support Person reports to the Director of Educational Services and works in partnership with Truro Elementary School (TES) to provide dedicated educational and transition support to Millbrook students attending the school. While based at Truro Elementary School, the Educational Transition Support Person serves as an important bridge between Millbrook First Nation, its students and families, and TES, supporting a coordinated approach to student success. This position provides individualized, culturally responsive, and student-centered support to students who are transitioning into the public-school environment. The primary purpose of the role is to help students develop confidence, familiarity, and a sense of belonging while adjusting to classroom routines, academic expectations, social interactions, and the broader school community.
