Employment Opportunity- Manager Millbrook Early Education Centre

Millbrook First Nation is seeking a compassionate and experienced Manager for the Millbrook Early Education Centre (MEEC). This role leads a dedicated team of early childhood educators in delivering high-quality, culturally grounded programming that supports children’s learning, development, and connection to Mi’kmaw culture.

Reporting to the Director of Educational Services, the Manager oversees daily operations—including curriculum planning, staff supervision, scheduling, compliance, and family engagement—while also contributing to MEEC’s long-term growth and vision. The Manager plays a key role in fostering a warm, inclusive, and collaborative environment where children feel safe, supported, and celebrated.

In this leadership role, the Manager will:

• Guide and mentor educators in creating engaging, culturally relevant learning experiences.

• Ensure programming meets provincial early childhood standards and reflects community values.

• Build strong relationships with families and community partners.

• Manage operations, reporting, and compliance with The Child Day Care Act and related regulations.

• Support strategic planning and continuous improvement for the Centre.
