Civic Signage & Survey Work

For the next few weeks a CMM summer student will be in community for civic and infrastructure data collection.

*He will be wearing a CMM-branded safety vest for easy identification

He will be validating civic addresses and completing some infrastructure data collection. As part of the civic addressing work, he will be confirming that all properties have a civic address and that the address signage is accurate.

This is an important initiative to help ensure first responders, including fire services, EHS, and police, can quickly and easily locate properties during an emergency. In addition, Thomas will be collecting survey points for various infrastructure assets throughout the community to support asset management efforts.

This may include items such as catch basins, manholes, signs, utility poles, culverts and other related infrastructure.
